As the semester gets into full swing, it can be easy to forget to make time for friends. Luckily, our amazing sisterhood chair has planned some great events for us all to take a second to unwind and enjoy our sweet sisters. On Valentine’s day, we had treats after chapter so we could slow down and appreciate all of our sisters. Last week, one of our sisters had a facial party in the chapter room. Everyone got to come in their pjs and relax with their sisters. It is these little things that remind me how much I love my sweet Alpha Xi Delta community! It is such a blessing to have people who care so much about our sorority as a whole, that they are willing to take time out of their day to make these events happen. I think that these people embody 1 Thessalonians 5:11, which says “therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” We have amazing sisters that work so hard to make sure everyone feels like they have a home in Alpha Xi Delta, and it is really incredible to be a part of it!
