We are so excited to kick off the new year and small group for Spring semester! Alpha Xi Delta has provided me with so many opportunities and a group of people that has always stood beside me, so I am so excited to get to serve all of these wonderful girls! This year, we wanted to focus on living intentionally and relationally, and finding mercy in a real relationship with Christ. It seems like so much of college is about perfection and to-do lists, and our relationship with Christ cannot be just another checklist. Our relationship with him should be a source of freedom, joy, and grace. I think it is summed up best in Matthew 11:28-29, “Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” I hope that this year we can grow together in faith and community, while pursuing a real relationship with Jesus. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for us!
